About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services, applying best practices in security and clean code.
  • Implement and consume APIs, integrate third-party systems, and work with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Validate technical decisions with architects or tech leads, and contribute to decisions on tools, integrations, and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and prioritize technical improvements with the software architect.
  • Define testing criteria with QA and validate functional and technical deliverables (e.g., logs, performance, standards).
  • Drive process, tool, and architecture enhancements, and propose new technologies aligned with business needs.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in software development within fintech, financial services, or related industries
  • Proficient in Git for code versioning and collaboration
  • Strong understanding of data structures, design patterns, and object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Skilled in designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Expertise in C#, .NET Core and Node.js
  • Experience with SQL Server and other relational/non-relational databases
  • Solid knowledge of SOLID principles and clean architecture
  • Familiar with continuous integration practices
  • Basic knowledge of AWS services
  • Desirable experience or knowledge in front-end technologies
  • Fluent in English
