About the role
- Lead the development and execution of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range strategic plans, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives.
- Act as a primary strategic finance partner to department heads and executive leaders (e.g., CEO, CRO, CMO), providing financial guidance and support for operational initiatives, investment proposals, and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support scenario analysis, "what-if" analysis, and M&A evaluations.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of detailed financial reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track business performance, identify cost optimization opportunities, and drive improvement.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial planning processes, tools, and systems (e.g., ERP, cloud-based FP&A software) to increase efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of financial data.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with accounting principles (e.g., GAAP), working closely with the Accounting and Treasury teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
- An MBA or related advanced degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in FP&A or related finance roles, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership or management position.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with an ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
- Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
