Accounting Manager

• Manages the development, implementation and/or maintenance of one or more accounting systems in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with financial transaction recording standards.
• Performs control/reconciliation of accounts and records.
• Prepares accounting reports/schedules for internal and/or external audiences.
• Reviews and recommends policy changes; assess internal control structure.
• Develops, maintains, monitors, and enforces accounting policies.
• Performs reviews on technical accounting areas.
• Reviews workflow for efficiencies and improvements.
• Documents and communicates complex technical accounting and financial reporting matters.
• Ensures accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of accounting data and revenue.
• Participates in annual audits and special projects.
