About the role
- Oversee the performance, profitability, and development of Commercial Property line of business
- Set product direction, support growth initiatives, and ensure alignment with corporate objectives
- Evaluate market trends, guide rate adequacy and product positioning
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Actuarial, Analytics, Compliance, and Underwriting Operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial lines underwriting experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good project management skills
- Thorough knowledge of commercial lines underwriting
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial rate-making process
- Good personal computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite
