About the role
- Take ownership of engineering QA function, including manual QA reviews and release management
- Write detailed test plans from feature requirements and develop quality test cases
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases for software products (manual and automated)
- Identify and report defects in software products
- Design and develop automated tests for software products
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to understand requirements and designs
- Review and provide feedback on software design specifications and documentation
- Ensure software products comply with international quality standards and regulations
- Onboard new tools to improve QA efficiency
- Provide clear and concise reports on software quality to stakeholders
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Experience with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and defect reports
- Ability to write detailed test plans from feature requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
- Excellent documentation skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and release processes
- Nice to have: Previous experience in a SaaS company
- Nice to have: Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
- Nice to have: Experience working in B2B2C environments
- Nice to have: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Nice to have: Experience with performance testing and load testing
