About the role

  • Perform data analyses and derive technical concepts.
  • Integrate new data sources and optimize existing ones.
  • Develop and extend dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Data governance: establish and monitor standards to ensure high data quality.
  • Change management: structure the backlog and communicate changes to BI users.

Requirements

  • You have strong analytical skills and can quickly grasp complex relationships.
  • You break down challenges into clear tasks, develop appropriate solutions, and integrate them into a coherent overall picture.
  • You have a solid understanding of core data operations, from filtering and joins to pivoting.
  • You are fluent in SQL and Python.
  • You have basic knowledge of the full software development lifecycle and ideally initial experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and reporting tools.
  • You should be familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Terraform, Git, and the Quick Suite.
  • You can communicate complex technical content clearly and appropriately for different audiences, including colleagues without an IT background.
  • You are able to establish, evolve, and operationalize data governance processes within the company.
  • You act proactively, think ahead, and contribute innovative solutions.
  • Within the team you act as a role model, share best practices, and actively contribute to a strong data culture.
