About the role
- Design and build electrical systems including bespoke components like harnesses or high/low voltage integrations
- Work alongside a junior Electrical Engineer with ownership of electrical architectural design
- Interface with cross-functional teams to align with the central truck team's roadmap
- Facilitate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement for growth and innovation
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Powertrain team members
- Continuously evaluate and refine OX Global's practices, tools, and processes
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to stay up-to-date on trends and technologies
- Attend and contribute to team Sprint meetings
Requirements
- Significant experience working on EV electrical architecture systems
- Experience working on both high and low-voltage distribution
- Ideally designed test and release processes on past projects
- Solution-oriented with a can-do attitude
- Understanding of agile teams and enthusiasm to adopt this approach
- Understanding of emerging markets such as Rwanda would be advantageous.
