Engineer

• Manage the design, development, and use of SMC formulations to manufacture compression molded parts
• Oversee raw material screening and routine testing
• Manage experiments to evaluate the use of alternate raw materials
• Compare SMC-based product performance to requirements and formulate to optimize cost and product performance
• Collaborate with product management teams to launch new products
• Collaborate with procurement and research teams on vendor selection to optimize product performance and cost
• Develop and maintain documentation for SMC formulations and related testing procedures
• Train and mentor team members on SMC production and testing best practices and safety procedures
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for SMC-related issues
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and contribute to cost reduction efforts
