About the role

  • Conduct continuous monitoring of financial transactions using specialized tools and systems to detect patterns of suspicious activity or behavior;
  • Prepare technical, detailed reports on transactions that present a risk of money laundering, terrorism financing, or proliferation financing;
  • Collaborate with the Data Science team on the configuration and validation of the transaction monitoring system;
  • Review and/or create internal manuals and respond to requests from control areas such as Regulatory Compliance, Internal Controls and Internal Audit to ensure AML/CFT controls are adequate and up to date;
  • Prepare reports and minutes regarding monitoring activities, including performance metrics and identified trends;
  • Develop training and capacity-building programs to improve the bank’s teams’ knowledge of AML/CFT.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law or a related field;
  • Solid experience in the foreign exchange market and AML/CFT;
  • Advanced English is mandatory for daily conversation and communication;
  • Experience with transaction monitoring tools;
  • Knowledge of regulations and laws related to AML/CFT, the foreign exchange market and the financial system;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely;
  • Critical thinking and decision-making ability;
  • Availability for hybrid work at Av. Paulista, three days per week.
