About the role
- Provide backup management support and administrative support to the Program Manager
- Ensure the requirements of the contract are met
- Ensure the contractor team adequately monitors, administers, and reports status
- Resolve scheduling issues, goals, and milestones with appropriate G6 Division Chiefs, Senior Management Team member and COR
- Provide oversight of project requirements and the quality of deliverables
- Establish work schedules and team assignments IAW PWS
- Coordinate with key internal and external stakeholders
- Report to the Program Manager on ongoing Project activities on a scheduled basis
- Communicate project needs and provide process improvements through the Quality Control Plan
- Ensure team members demonstrate subject matter expertise in various IT Security policies
- Submit Monthly Progress Reports (MPR) to COR and CCoE Leadership
- Apply Project Management best practices (PMBOK, ITIL, ISO 9001 and 20000)
- Interface with Government PMs, COR, TPOCs and other leadership to gather requirements and expectations
- Meticulously document and report changes in schedule and scope
- Support IT project management activities at all levels
- Analyze complex project-related taskings and solve schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and management conflicts
- Provide risk analysis and mitigation strategies for technology selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities
- Provide advice to leadership on engineering and development efforts and provide technical recommendations for current projects or initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (degree in Computer Science/Management preferred)
- In lieu of degree 10 years of related skills and experience is required
- Must meet IAM Level III requirements from 8570
- Must possess and maintain Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Working knowledge of MS Project or other similar Program/Project tracking Integrated Master Scheduling application
- Knowledge of computer-based tools for project management
- 10 years Program/Project management experience
- Five (5) years management and supervision of military project management
- PMP or Agile Methodology Certification, such as Scrum Master Certification
