About the role

  • Business Partnering: First point of contact within finance for business units and (international) subsidiaries
  • 360° Responsibility: Preparation, coordination and reconciliation of intercompany billing
  • Reporting: Preparation of monthly reports for management and investors as well as creation of internal reports for business units
  • Analysis: Development and implementation of new standard reports as well as preparation of ad-hoc analyses for management and business units
  • Transparency: Preparation of business cases and profitability calculations for (new) divisions
  • Planning: Participation in the budgeting and multi-year planning process, as well as intra-year forecasts
  • Integration: Onboarding and integration of new entities into the system landscape
  • Optimization: Further development of existing processes and systems, focusing on planning and reporting
  • Projects: Participation in special projects such as implementing a new ERP system, internationalization strategies, or M&A processes

Requirements

  • Qualification: Degree in business administration or comparable commercial training
  • Experience: Relevant professional experience (min. 1–3 years) in controlling, ideally at the interface between finance and business units/subsidiaries
  • Expertise: Very strong analytical skills and a high numerical affinity, basic knowledge of HGB and IFRS
  • IT affinity: Ability to work in and further develop complex IT structures as well as experience with standardizing and digitizing controlling processes
  • IT know-how: Confident user of Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems, ideally NetSuite
  • Language skills: Business-fluent German (C2) and very good English (B2 or higher) in spoken and written form
