About the role

  • Work with team members to ensure compliance with all safety procedures at site.
  • Report safety compliance issues and safety incidents to Orbital and client supervision.
  • Work with team member/crew supervision to stop unsafe activities.
  • Drive project tasks to completion.
  • Learn regular responsibilities of the role and complete tasks in a timely manner based on project stage.
  • Host and/or attend regularly scheduled project meetings to maintain working knowledge of project status.
  • Responsible for monitoring schedule for adherence, managing material orders, project checklists, tracking project as-builts, etc.
  • Participate in on-site field walkdowns and contribute to project goals/objectives.
  • Provide input to improve processes/procedures as appropriate to maximize efficiency and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Related Field
  • 8-10 Years Project Management Experience
  • Experience in Electric Utility Transmission and Distribution
  • Must exhibit strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Must exhibit ability to perform financial planning and forecasting
  • Must be competent in basic computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe)
  • Must be competent in scheduling software (P6)
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work well in a group setting and manage simultaneous tasks.
  • Must be willing to travel as needed.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle to frequent construction sites.
  • This position requires the ability to pass a post-offer drug (including marijuana) and alcohol test in compliance with Federal regulations and is also subject to random testing as a condition of continued employment.
