About the role
- Lead and support market sales teams in your region, setting clear performance expectations and providing coaching and feedback
- Analyze market conditions and collaborate with leadership to develop regional strategies for growth
- Work with internal teams on go-to-market strategies, sales, and promotions
- Take responsibility for new market launches, including hiring and execution
- Foster collaboration and a strong team culture through regular communication
- Hold the team accountable for all measured and assigned metrics
- Partner with internal team members on go-to-market strategies, sales, and promotions
- Hire, onboard, and develop a team of driven salespeople equipped to meet market goals
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of sales leadership experience with outside sales teams
- College degree or equivalent professional experience
- Automotive industry experience, preferably selling SaaS platforms into dealerships
- Ability to travel 75% of the time within the designated market
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify market trends, changes and implications, develop objectives, and strategies
- Strong follow-through and determination to close deals
- Proven ability to lead teams, grow markets and drive to meet/exceed sales targets
- Clear communication and contagious motivational leadership style
