About the role
- Design and implement automated test solutions to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance
- Partner across the organization and with developers to ensure solutions meet requirements and are testable from the start
- Write both product and test code to deliver against project timelines and quality standards
- Design software components (functionality, defect fixes, automated tests) as part of larger solutions
- Define comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts
- Identify and troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, and propose effective solutions
- Create synthetic test data to validate functionality in lower environments
- Contribute to product development as needed, while maintaining a primary focus on testing and test automation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, with strong expertise in test coverage and test automation using Python, C#, and .NET
- 3+ years of experience with testing, both manual and automated
- Experience with SQL and RDBMS
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, CI/CD, and Agile processes
- Experience with API testing frameworks (Postman, REST-assured, or equivalent)
- Experience using and creating RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub
- Experience with cloud technologies, specifically Azure, including deployment, testing, and monitoring of cloud-based applications
- Experience mentoring and leading small projects.
