About the role
- Provide individual counseling sessions
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage crisis situations effectively
- Refer clients to appropriate mental health resources
- Advocate for clients with various stakeholders
- Maintain precise and up-to-date client records
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree required
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in mental health and/or addiction counseling
- Competency in diagnosing and treating mental health and/or substance use disorders
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality
- Candidates must hold at least one of the following active licenses: LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LICDC, LCDC III, LCDC II
