About the role

  • Own comprehensive compliance programs across 35+ states for general contractor licensing, service provider registrations, and operational permits
  • Lead regulatory research, application processes, and ongoing compliance maintenance for state-specific requirements
  • Develop and maintain compliance matrices, tracking systems, and renewal calendars across all jurisdictions
  • Interface directly with state regulatory agencies, licensing boards, and enforcement bodies
  • Design and implement scalable compliance frameworks that support business expansion into new markets
  • Prepare executive-level compliance reports and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with business development, operations, and customer success teams on compliance requirements

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of compliance experience, preferably in regulated industries or multi-state operations
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale compliance programs across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience with contractor licensing, professional services regulations, or similar state-level compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience creating compliance tracking systems and reporting
