About the role

  • You will set up initial environments with a mentor, connect identities (Single Sign-On) and enable basic services for security, logging and monitoring.
  • You will build foundational components such as networks, virtual machines or container environments and keep them secure and stable.
  • You will make setups repeatable (e.g., with scripts or Infrastructure as Code) and improve our deployments step by step.
  • You will bring metrics and logs together, maintain runbooks and help resolve incidents in a structured way.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics or vocational training as an IT specialist (system integration/application development)
  • Solid foundation in operating systems, networks, communication technologies and distributed systems
  • Some experience or a strong interest in cloud infrastructure and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Enjoy automation and architectural thinking — you like building systems, not just applications
  • Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to dive into complex topics
  • Fluent German (written and spoken) and good English skills
