About the role
- Directs the West Regional sales team
- Strengthens relationships with manufacturers, customers, and end users
- Manages relationships through direct contact with customers, reps, and contractors
- Identifies growth opportunities within accounts
- Analyzes sales report to monitor performance
- Directs regional sales team to overdrive strong-performing products
- Develops long-term goals and administer plans/policies/programs
- Attends trade shows and industry events to promote brands
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the Building Materials Industry
- 7 – 10 years of related experience, including 5+ years of management/supervisory experience
- In-depth sales and business experience
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to lead regional sales team effectively with 60% travel
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree
