  • **Your Mission**
  • Nuvei is currently seeking a lawyer based in the EU to fill a permanent position as Legal Counsel, EMEA. The ideal candidate has 5-7years of experience working as a commercial attorney out of which at least 3 in or for regulated industries, such as payments, fintech or financial services companies. We are seeking a colleague who is resourceful, autonomous and efficient. This person has great ease working alone as well as within a team environment. Able to handle a variety of issues within tight deadlines, this person has a great sense of professionalism and excels under pressure.

Requirements

  • - Member in good standing of a bar association in the UK or EU
  • - 5-7 years as a commercial lawyer out of which at least 3 years of relevant legal experience with payments companies, FinTechs or financial services providers either in-house or in a law firm
  • - Experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, as well as knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in the payment services industry
  • - Excellent negotiation and drafting skills
  • - Great ability to develop interpersonal relationships
