About the role
- Taking Care of our Customers by completing quality, timely joist and deck estimates from plans and specifications.
- Organizing project documents and coordinating project requirements with customers, specifiers, contractors, and teammates.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive project quotes from estimates that will differentiate Vulcraft and win projects.
- Assist the post-sale team in delivering a successful project outcome through service and coordination.
- Maintain the highest standards of service through professional, informative, and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our internal and external customers.
- Be willing and able to work more than 40 hours per week.
- Be willing and able to travel.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements
- Experience in reading architectural and structural drawings
- General understanding of the construction process or a college degree
- Experience in Microsoft Office products.
- Teamwork: Working as part of a coordinated effort with others to achieve a common goal.
- Accountability: Displays responsibility with work habits and has ability to hold others accountable for desired results.
- Initiative: Being proactive with seeking out work that needs to be done and being willing to take on responsibilities and challenges.
- Time Management: Capable of supporting multiple projects and tasks simultaneously to meet shifting deadlines.
- Communication Skills: The ability to give full attention to what others are saying and communicate information so that others will understand.
- Problem solving & decision making: Identifying problems and analyzing or reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options to choose the most appropriate solution.
