About the role
- Lead the Engineering department at VTX
- Ensure alignment with Nucor & Divisional expectations
- Participate as a member of the division's leadership team
- Recruit, select, and develop the talent needed to sustain and grow Nucor
- Lead the division's detailing, engineering, and quality efforts
- Develop and manage the systems and processes necessary for effective execution
- Provide guidance and expertise in relevant engineering codes and standards
- Support division efforts in innovation through collaborative problem solving
Requirements
- Must be a Civil or Structural PE
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Leadership experience in an Engineering Department
- Work experience in Sales, Sales Service, Finance, Production or Shipping
- CWI Certification
