About the role

  • Senior Sales Analytics Specialist accountable for driving sales operations success through data analysis and strategic decision support
  • Drive tactical and strategic projects with cross-functional virtual teams to achieve business objectives
  • Analyze complex business problems using internal and external data to provide insights to decision-makers
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to inform business decisions
  • Create documented specifications for reports and analyses based on business needs and available data
  • Define, develop, enhance, and track metrics and dashboards; provide insights and recommendations on trends
  • Validate data using advanced analysis and tools to ensure analytics are meaningful and actionable
  • Provide strategic decision support and technical consultation to teams and senior stakeholders
  • Create reports and present trends to stakeholders; perform related tasks as required

Requirements

  • Advanced understanding of advanced data analysis techniques and ability to uncover strategic insights
  • Advanced understanding of the business's sales objectives, market dynamics, and industry trends
  • Advanced collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and senior management
  • Advanced ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies for non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in advanced Excel, advanced PowerBI, and at least one relevant coding language (for example DAX, R, Python)
  • Advanced understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) for managing and querying relational databases
  • Advanced knowledge of techniques for transforming and structuring data for analysis and ETL processes
  • Advanced understanding of data security and privacy best practices
  • Advanced understanding of the business domain and ability to translate data insights into business recommendations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Science or related field (relevant sales analytics certifications desirable)
  • Advanced demonstrated experience in a sales or marketing function as a data analyst
  • Advanced demonstrated experience in using PowerBI, statistical and quantitative analysis techniques, and data visualizations
  • Proven track record creating and optimizing reports and dashboards that contribute to strategic decision support
  • Proven experience providing data-driven support for business planning and strategic decision-making
