About the role

  • Provides expertise on sales processes, tools, methods and systems to enable sales teams to achieve goals
  • Analyzes data on company sales and profitability to inform decision-making
  • Develops methods to measure sales performance and efficiency
  • Evaluates sales processes, programs, and systems to minimize costs and improve customer satisfaction
  • Shares reports and sales data between sales, marketing, and other departments
  • Supports sales teams by creating, evaluating and optimizing data sets and sales applications and platforms
  • Implements sales forecasting by analyzing past data and trends to forecast future sales
  • Trains new and current employees on sales and marketing collateral, product sets, sales processes, systems and tools
  • Establishes sales fulfilment processes and identifies opportunities for enhancement of sales operations
  • Develops monthly and quarterly sales reports and distributes them to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Collaborates with cross-functional sales team on pipeline management (data entry compliance, competitive data, ROI data, etc.)
  • Onboards new sales team members on toolsets and processes
  • Increases sales team productivity by improving the efficiency of sales processes
  • Monitors quality, accuracy, and consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement and prioritizes them with sales management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or sales or a related field
  • Demonstrable extended knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
  • SPIN and Solution Selling certifications desirable
  • Salesforce experience
  • Experience with quote tools is an advantage
  • Experience in sales operations and enablement in a B2B or global technology organization
  • Experience building sales metrics and forecast models
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to identify trends and areas for improvement
