About the role
- Inspire and empower a talented team of sales professionals
- Shape and execute bold sales strategies that unlock the full potential of Novo Nordisk’s Cardiometabolic portfolio in the local market
- Build and develop a high-performing Cardiometabolic sales unit, fostering collaboration to achieve all key sales and commercial excellence KPIs
- Drive and implement commercial strategies and local initiatives that unlock the full potential of the Cardiometabolic business
- Ensure full compliance with NN standards and local regulations, embedding ethical conduct, quality, and robust training across the Sales unit
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, medicine, or a related field, coupled with strong business acumen.
- At least 10 years of commercial experience in sales within a large pharmaceutical company, with proven strategic, operational, and business development capabilities.
- Strong strategic vision, people leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams and influence senior leaders.
- A track record of successful product launches and impactful execution of sales strategies across a diverse brand portfolio.
- Experience working with and leveraging performance insights from CRM/ sales force.
- Excellent verbal and written Romanian and English proficiency.
- Experience in the cardiometabolic area or broader chronic disease would be considered a strong advantage.
