About the role
- Provide strategic leadership in designing and executing the Regulatory Assurance Methodology (1LOD) with a focus on regulatory change
- Lead and manage global regulatory assurance projects, including planning and conducting assurance reviews
- Identify and assess control gaps and regulatory risks as laws and regulations evolve
- Apply regulatory and technical expertise to evaluate compliance impacts of new rules, products, and services
- Collaborate with senior management and global regulators to communicate assurance results and compliance strategies
- Ensure consistent execution of the Regulatory Change Management Standard across the organization
- Drive continuous improvement through risk trend analysis, working groups, and process enhancements
- Manage assurance project pipelines and perform special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of experience in regulatory assurance, compliance risk management, or internal audit
- Professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, ACA, ACCA) preferred
- Deep expertise in regulatory compliance within financial services, including financial and non-financial risk areas
- Strong understanding of corporate compliance programs and enterprise risk management frameworks
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and deliver results in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, including advanced report writing
- Leadership capabilities to set goals, manage resources, and influence stakeholders
