About the role
- Creating sketches
- Creating technical drawings
- CAD calculations
- Dimensioning and creating design models
- Confident implementation of aesthetic and ergonomic aspects
- Creating animations, simulations, models, and prototypes
- Testing components and assemblies using computer simulations and specialized tests
- Considering constraints such as manufacturing effort, ergonomics, service life, sustainability, and resource consumption
- Modifying and correcting design solutions
- Creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation, parts lists, standards lists, and technical data
- Coordinating with involved departments such as development and production, as well as external suppliers
- Supporting the production process through to the finished product
Requirements
- Creative and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good spatial visualization skills
- Manual and artistic skills in creating physical models, mock-ups, and prototypes
- Creating technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm
- Team player with customer- and service-orientation
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Microsoft Office skills desirable
