About the role
- Engage with customers in manufacturing and logistics environments to map end-to-end processes (inventory management, production planning, bills of materials, production orders, quality control).
- Analyze where improvements can be made and identify optimization opportunities.
- Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to match customer needs, automate production flows, set up planning modules and connect with warehouse or logistics systems.
- Guide migrations from existing systems and ensure accurate and complete transfer of data such as inventory levels, production orders and item structures.
- Test and validate the solution together with the customer and prepare for go-live.
- Deliver training and workshops for key users and end users to enable independent use of the ERP solution.
- Act as the bridge between business and IT, working closely with technical colleagues to ensure solutions contribute to more efficient manufacturing and logistics processes.
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, supply chain or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with planning, inventory management, production flows and process optimization.
- Some first-hand experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or another ERP platform.
- Growth mindset, natural curiosity and commitment to lifelong learning.
- Eagerness to explore IT and digitalization and build a career in ERP consultancy.
- Strong communication skills; able to explain complex manufacturing or logistics processes clearly and convincingly to customers.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; basic knowledge of French is considered an asset.
- Analytical, customer-focused and results-driven; sets priorities and takes ownership.
