About the role

  • Detailed design of end-to-end, industry-specific customer processes
  • Aligning customer requirements and coordinating all necessary activities
  • Project and subproject leadership for German-speaking energy suppliers
  • Identifying and developing options to close gaps in the SAP standard portfolio
  • Analyzing and purposefully further developing processes for energy suppliers
  • Taking on steering responsibilities for subprojects and specialist streams
  • Serving as a mentor and coach for our consultants
  • Developing requirement specifications and managing and coordinating their implementation
  • Conducting client workshops and training sessions
  • Working with the team on projects, e.g., digitalization, standardization, optimization of complex processes, and implementation of new SAP-centered platforms

Requirements

  • Degree in (business) informatics, business administration, or a comparable field
  • Extensive knowledge of the energy industry
  • Many years of relevant consulting experience in the SAP area for the energy sector
  • Specialization in specific SAP solution areas for the energy industry, particularly market communication, energy data management, billing, or customer management processes
  • Knowledge of software development with a focus on bespoke customer requirements
  • Experience with energy supplier processes and/or several years’ experience in implementing and developing energy-related SAP systems
  • Confident communication and presentation skills
  • Programming skills in an object-oriented language (e.g., ABAP OO or Java) are an advantage
  • Experience in (IT) project management, both classical and agile
  • Native-level German language skills
  • Experience in (SAP) data migration projects is desirable
