About the role
- Supports the design, development, and delivery of electrical balance of system (eBOS) products across NextPower’s portfolio
- Bridges technical engineering work with cross-functional collaboration
- Translates market and customer needs into manufacturable, high-quality solutions
- Contributes to the development and integration of eBOS components, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability
- Translates product and market requirements into engineering specifications, drawings, and validation plans
- Supports design reviews, certification activities, and prototype testing through production release
- Partners with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers to ensure design-for-manufacturing and smooth transition to production
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 8+ years of experience in product development, electrical systems, or energy-related engineering
- Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and business teams
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment
- Experience with solar or renewable energy systems, particularly eBOS components (preferred)
- Familiarity with product certification processes and electrical design validation (preferred)
