About the role
- Works with Managed Service Provider leadership to identify and drive implementation of solutions to continuously improve IT Operations services.
- Validates MSP performance data to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Is responsible for the direction, analysis and continuous improvement of the following disciplines: System and Configuration Item (CI) transition to operations (TTO) Incident Management / Major Incident Management Problem Management – root cause analyses and continuous improvement in system reliability Server and workstation patching, compliance and vulnerability reduction.
- Works with monitoring engineers to continuously improve issue prediction and detection, as well as incident avoidance and automated response.
- Drives the ongoing adoption of process improvements, automation, and AI to enhance the efficiency and delivery of IT Operations services.
- Uses ServiceNow capabilities, such as reporting and dashboards, to analyze and communicate Operational activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned during Storm and other urgent situations.
- Integrates Cyber Security into all strategic and tactical activities.
- May be asked to provide On-Call escalation support on a rotational basis.
- Provides backup coverage for DWA and Fusion Center Operations Systems Administrator on an as needed basis.
Requirements
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 6+ years
