About the role
- Administer and optimize Oracle databases (11g–19c)
- Take responsibility for backup/recovery strategies using RMAN
- Analyze performance and ensure stability and availability
- Execute migration, upgrade, and patch projects
- Automate recurring operational tasks
- Contribute to architecture and security concepts
- Advise internal teams and customers on database topics
- Resolve complex technical incidents
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Oracle Database administration
- Strong knowledge of Oracle 11g, 12c and 19c
- Solid experience with Oracle GoldenGate (replication, configuration, operation)
- Confident use of RMAN, backup/recovery strategies and monitoring
- Strong understanding of performance tuning, SQL optimization and High Availability
- Experience with migrations, upgrades and patch projects
- Knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL and shell scripting (Bash)
- Experience with Linux/Unix-based systems
- Structured working style, team-oriented and quality-conscious
