About the role

  • Conduct detailed market analyses including SWOT analyses and segmentation studies to identify trends, new technologies, competitors, and potential growth opportunities
  • Prepare reports and benchmarks that clearly present the findings of market analyses and provide decision-makers with concrete recommendations
  • Collaborate with various colleagues in the Business Development team to propose new products and services that excite the market

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a market analysis role within the financial sector or consulting
  • Affinity for new technologies and tools in the finance sector and basic knowledge of financial products, processes, and trends
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to interpret large data sets and translate them into actionable strategies
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Proactive, independent working style, team orientation, and curiosity about new developments
  • Team orientation and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • **Nice-to-haves**
  • Experience with BI/dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and modern collaboration tools (Teams, Miro, Confluence) as well as AI tools
  • Existing network in the financial services industry
  • Familiarity with agile/iterative ways of working
