About the role
- Responsible for strategic performance management of a production area
- Communicate with factory teams on operational matters
- Ensure all operations are performed safely and efficiently
- Provide technical direction and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in developing safe work practices and training documents
- Monitor team member training and performance
- Actively seek improvement opportunities in all operations
- Review operations schedule and coordinate with maintenance
- Provide technical guidance to Production Team Leaders and Technical Operators
- Coach and develop team members through meetings and interactions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 2+ years of experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military or related environment OR High School diploma and 5+ years of experience in leadership role in manufacturing, production, warehouse, military or related environment
