About the role
- Responsible for a team of direct reports, reporting to the Operations Planning Manager
- Work with the Operations planner and production team to create effective production plans
- Monitor and allocate resources to optimize production efficiency
- Identify and address resource shortages or bottlenecks
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure smooth operations through effective communication and collaboration
- Lead conversations with various stakeholders providing recommendations and guiding indicators
- Development of careers and coaching of DPS Planning team
Requirements
- Ideally of graduate caliber (or equivalent)
- Previous experience within Supply Chain
- Added advantage if coming from a forecasting or planning background
- Ability to plan ahead and meet deadlines
- Proven track record in Supply Chain/Operations, ideally in FMCG or Factory environment
- Evidence of working with multiple stakeholders varying in seniority
- Experience of project tracking and identifying risks and opportunities
- Good knowledge of SAP (R/3) APO – Essential
- Microsoft Power BI would be ideal but not essential
