About the role
- Provide analysis of ingredients to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Perform multiple chemical tests of finished product samples
- Test moisture and fat on raw ingredients and testing samples
- Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of lab equipment
- Facilitate internal and cross-functional projects that improve quality functions
- Identify trends and reactions to out-of-specifications
- Coordinate external services for calibration of equipment
- Support Total Performance Management process (TPM)
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in quality, food manufacturing, military or related environment
- Must be available to work backshift
