About the role
- Design, maintain, and implement Navy Federal’s computer networks.
- Configure and maintain network hardware and software, monitor network performance, and troubleshoot network issues.
- Ensure network functionality and reliability and overall efficiency and effectiveness of network operations.
- Solve a range of mostly straightforward problems with some increased scope and complexity.
- Mentor team members and provide guidance on resolving network issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in network engineering
- Complete knowledge and understanding of business area/specialization
- Advanced knowledge of network hardware, software, and security protocols.
- Advanced skill in configuring and maintaining network systems.
- Experience in designing and troubleshooting network systems.
- Experience with network security protocols and performance optimization.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate independently.
