About the role
- Management, development and expansion of key accounts: online pharmacies, pharmacy chains, pharmaceutical wholesalers, specialist retailers, and international distributors.
- Development of customer-specific sales strategies.
- Preparation of annual review meetings, commercial terms negotiations, and sales/revenue planning.
- Monitoring KPIs, sales volumes, and sales figures.
- Identifying new international distribution partners and markets.
- Establishing international structures (sales, logistics, distributor/dealer networks).
- Feeding market feedback into product development processes.
- Acting as an interdisciplinary interface to relevant departments.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Business Psychology, Health Economics, Nutritional Science, Pharmacy, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in key account management, ideally in dietary supplements, OTC, pharmaceuticals, the pharmacy channel, or consumer health.
- Solid knowledge of the national supplements, pharmacy, and wholesale market is desirable.
- Experience in international sales.
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements (EU & non-EU).
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a high degree of personal responsibility.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel (national & international).
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Additional language desirable, e.g., Spanish or French.
