About the role
- Perform technical and analytical evaluations of telecommunications systems, preparing detailed documentation and reports.
- Develop and deliver briefings and presentations to project stakeholders.
- Lead on-site installation and configuration efforts for telecommunications and network systems.
- Support the development, execution, and monitoring of project plans, ensuring milestones and requirements are met.
- Review work products to ensure accuracy, compliance with design standards, and alignment with user requirements.
- Coordinate closely with Vendor Program Managers, COTRs, and end-user representatives to ensure effective solutions and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 10+ years in telecommunications
- minimum of 8 years supporting local area network (LAN) environments
- Active Secret clearance
- IT-I Critical Sensitive
- Certification (DoD 8570 IAT Level II): Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, or equivalent
- Computing Environment Certification: CCNA, CCNA-E, CCNP, or CCNP-E
- Installation, configuration, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of telecommunications and IT network systems
- Support of systems hardware, software, circuits, cabling, and end-user devices
- Identifying and resolving connectivity and performance issues across network components and environments
