• Help new members get started: Review and verify membership application, conduct basic research on applicant company, prepare/organize legal documents and summaries for internal review, answer questions about membership benefits and eligibility under NCTC bylaws, and guide new members through the onboarding process.
• Be the trusted point of contact: Build strong relationships with existing and new members, helping them get the most from NCTC’s programs and services. Act as the primary contact for general inquiries regarding NCTC membership and member services.
• Track and maintain accurate records: Update member profiles in internal systems, ensure member data reflects mergers and ownership changes, and keep documentation compliant and current.
• Collaborate across departments: Work with internal teams to solve member issues, support special projects, and develop staff education information related to membership.
• Initiate and Develop New Members: Lead, identify and reach out to new member possibilities and prospective entities, and guide them through the membership application process. Clearly articulate the value proposition of NCTC’s programs and services, coordinating with the Business Development team to identify opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to improve: Spot recurring member issues or process gaps, suggest solutions, and help refine membership workflows to make things more efficient for both member and staff.
• Keep a pulse on membership and industry changes: Stay informed about shifts in the broadband and telecommunications landscape to better understand member needs and emerging opportunities.
