About the role
- Engage in research on various regulatory change logic
- Write solution specifications including Business Requirements and Functional Specifications for the solution development team
- Perform detailed analysis of various jurisdictional regulations
- Regularly monitor regulatory rule updates
- Navigate our Controller View platform to understand the implementation of the regulatory requirements
- Liaise with the development team, providing business knowledge to ensure business requirements are clearly understood
- Guide the Quality Assurance team on scenarios to be tested
- Support the Pre-sales team in conducting Proof of Concepts and demos to potential clients
- Engage with existing clients to understand their business scenarios where required
Requirements
- At least 4-7 years of regulatory reporting experience, as a business or regulatory change analyst
- Experience in reviewing regulations and translating the requirements into functional specifications/business requirement documents
- Good understanding of key financial products, particularly equity-based instruments and a good understanding of the trade lifecycle of these instruments
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team in a multifaceted environment.
- Highly organized and methodical approach to analysis
- Results oriented and self-motivated demeanor
- Ability to work under pressure and meet exacting deadlines.
