About the role
- Design and implement solutions that migrate data from banking platforms into Verafin’s cloud-based application.
- Implement data normalization and ingestion solutions in AWS using Postgres, Java, Scala, and Unix utilities.
- Define strategies for data flows to meet application requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver secure, scalable services.
- Provide clear technical guidance to non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuously improve coding practices and system performance.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of software development experience.
- Strong skills in Java and relational databases (Postgres).
- Experience with automated testing and cloud-based environments.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Nice to Have: Experience with Scala and Unix utilities, familiarity with AWS services and data migration strategies, background in financial technology or regulated industries.
