About the role
- Develop, write, and refine high-quality content tailored to the Energy Management domain.
- Create content that supports a B2C customer journey, ensuring clarity, relevance, and emotional engagement.
- Act as a content educator and consultant—guiding users, simplifying complex ideas, and shaping messages that build trust.
- Inspire and collaborate with internal teams, providing direction on tone, storytelling, and consumer-centric communication.
- Rewrite or elevate existing content to improve clarity, emotional depth, and user impact.
- Work closely with Europe-based UX Designers, ensuring smooth collaboration across time zones.
- Contribute ideas to improve content strategy, messaging frameworks, and user experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of proven content writing experience, preferably in technical, energy, environmental, or consumer-focused industries.
- Strong understanding of the Energy Management sector and consumer-facing products/services.
- Deep understanding of the US market, consumer language patterns, behavior, and cultural nuances.
- Experience creating content for the B2C audience and optimizing content for consumer engagement.
- Ability to write emotionally compelling content that builds trust and drives action.
- Strong editorial, storytelling, and proofreading capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across time zones.
