About the role

  • Acquisition of new customers as well as maintenance and expansion of existing business relationships (from mid-sized companies to large corporations) in the regions 26*-28*, 40-50*, 58*-59*
  • Targeted technical consulting and development of tailored solutions for customers on site – with a focus on the full product range of valve and pump technology for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries
  • Independent planning, coordination and execution of field visits
  • Market analysis to identify new potentials and business opportunities within the sales territory
  • Close cooperation with the inside sales team for handover and follow-up of quotations
  • Regular reporting to sales management
  • Approx. 60% regional travel to customers within the sales territory

Requirements

  • University degree or completed vocational training, ideally with a commercial focus and technical expertise
  • Several years of experience in technical sales, including successful new customer acquisition
  • Sales experience in an industrial environment, particularly selling technically complex products
  • Industry knowledge in the food, pharmaceutical or beverage sectors is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Independent and structured way of working from a home office
  • Strong prospecting skills and entrepreneurial mindset, with high self-motivation in sales
  • Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
