About the role

  • Treasury Administration and Analysis
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Management of daily bank transactions within our finance system.
  • Short term cash forecasting and recommended internal transfers.
  • Reconciliation of foreign currency advances for staff overseas trips
  • Credit control
  • Proactively manage potential overdue payments and highlight to business owners & finance colleagues
  • Discuss with customers the payment status of invoices as they approach due date for payment, providing additional information where required
  • Reviewing credit limits in line with market support and finance
  • Management accounting and provision of business reporting on cash & Treasury
  • Management Accounts
  • Maintain the UK fixed asset registers and provision of information on capex
  • Accounting and closing of UK sales ledger
  • Assist in the production of the monthly management accounts (journals, analysis, reconciliations as required.)
  • Raise and post sundry sales invoices for UK
  • Contribute to the development of Finance policies, processes and systems
  • Complete ad-hoc Finance and Treasury tasks/projects as required by the Finance Operations team.

Requirements

  • Actively studying towards a recognised accounting qualification - AAT/CIMA/ACCA. (Support provided after qualifying period working with Mulberry)
  • Can demonstrate ability to analyse and interpret data accurately using Excel
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially when conveying financial information to non-finance audiences
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work both independently and collaboratively – can demonstrate effective strategies to manage own workload
  • Demonstrates a flexible approach to work, and can adapt quickly and effectively.
