About the role
- Support project managers in the performance of key transactional processes for field support
- Provide project financial support using the Planview tool by executing tasks related to budget verification and cost forecasting
- Assist in the preparation of materials for project reviews and milestone plan management
- Support the coordination of project task scheduling and resource alignment
- Collaborate with other PMO teams to support the continuous refinement of tools, processes, and training programs
- Assist in the coordination and preparation of quarterly project review presentations for senior leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in project support, project management, or financial operations
- High School diploma, Associates or Bachelor's degree required
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely
- PMP and/or PMI-SP certification in progress or desired
- Working knowledge of NA SDI processes
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet).
- Understanding of key Motorola Solutions project finance methodologies: Time-phased budgeting, Percentage of completion accounting, Deferred cost balance analysis, S2S delivery framework, Procurement and risk order processes.
