About the role
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create engaging, user-centered digital experiences.
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that are responsive, accessible, and visually compelling.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and inform product improvements.
- Ensure design solutions align with brand guidelines and reflect the target audience’s needs.
- Champion inclusivity, accessibility, and innovative approaches to UX design.
- Participate in stand-ups, review sessions, and team syncs while managing heads-down design work (~85% of time).
- Contribute to measurable outcomes, such as engagement metrics, conversion rates, and user satisfaction.
- Continuously iterate designs based on feedback from playtests, analytics, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to team growth, collaboration, and a supportive design culture.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a design-related field with 4+ years of product/service design experience or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience.
- 5–7 years of overall design experience, ideally including prior work in gaming or consumer-facing digital products.
- Proficiency with UI/UX design tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, After Effects, Illustrator, or similar (3–5 years experience).
- Strong expertise in web UX, responsive design, layout systems, and interaction patterns (2–3 years experience).
- Demonstrated experience creating user-centered designs with strong visual and interaction fidelity.
- Portfolio showcasing shipped work and self-initiated projects that highlight both analytical/technical thinking and visual design skills.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and player engagement strategies.
