About the role
- Work on projects and assignments individually, as well as part of a work team
- Responsible for understanding and following manufacturing guidelines for product installations
- Generate accurate takeoff quantities for flooring products and accessories
- Use artistic skills and design principles to develop exclusive visuals for desired flooring products and prepare layouts for internal and external client approval
- Ability to present layout design concepts via phone, web and in-person in a polished professional manner
- Stay aware of current trends in flooring, while occasionally developing design and color schemes for specific customers and layouts.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience
- 0-2 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience
- Expertise with AutoCAD is required, and Callidus flooring software is preferred
- Basic working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc. required
- For colorist-specific role, must be able to pass a colorblind test.
