About the role
- Partner with senior leaders to deliver Human Resources solutions that drive business and an engaged culture.
- Create and lead the strategic human resources function to ensure the business will deliver on commitments.
- Implement programs and solutions, providing high level consultation to management team on employment and labor laws, policy interpretation and application.
- Promote a workplace that ensures a positive employee experience, that has a robust talent pipeline, and embraces innovation.
- Communicate effectively with subordinates and management at all levels.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures and report all unsafe activities.
- Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of third parties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 15+ years of Human Resource leadership experience, building and leading HR teams and partnering with executive stakeholders.
- Partner with Total Rewards, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Organization Excellence and Operations to drive business success in the business unit.
- Focus on total rewards to ensure compliance, equity, and retention of talent.
- Lead the process for managing succession, workforce planning, and talent plan.
- Engage as a key member of the leadership team to focus on organizational success.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Ability to travel to Savannah, GA location and other MPWA facilities (up to 20%).
