About the role

  • Leading full-cycle recruitment for niche technical, consulting, and fundraising-technology roles across the organization.
  • Building and executing tailored sourcing strategies for specialized talent pools, including proactive outbound search, technical communities, and executive-style search.
  • Screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates to evaluate technical skills, project experience, role fit, and values alignment – while centering DEIB practices.
  • Managing all elements of the hiring process, including drafting job postings, interview design, candidate debriefs, reference checks, salary recommendations, and offer delivery.
  • Maintaining precision and consistency throughout the recruiting lifecycle using Lever, including pipeline management, documentation, workflows, and reporting.
  • Acting as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, helping them understand talent market realities and refining hiring profiles accordingly.
  • Communicating updates to hiring managers and aligning on priorities regularly through standing meetings and written communications.
  • Supporting hiring managers through capacity planning and guiding them through continuous pipeline building and talent acquisition strategies to get ahead of urgent and anticipated needs.
  • Collaborating with the rest of the recruitment team to standardize processes, recommend improvements, and mitigate bottlenecks.
  • Promoting MissionWired as an employer of choice by collaborating with the marketing team and participating in networking events, job fairs, and community engagements.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, including direct experience sourcing and hiring for specialized or technical roles.
  • Expertise using an ATS (Lever beneficial) and maintaining accurate, high-volume pipelines.
  • Demonstrated success with proactive sourcing tools and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean/X-ray search, and niche talent communities.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruiting processes at scale while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience advising senior leaders and managing expectations.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Deep understanding of recruiting best practices, DEIB principles, and equitable hiring practices.
