About the role
- Provide support to the design, development, prototype fabrication, and verification testing of unique specialty products
- Perform detailed system and sub-system analysis, simulation, and design work as required
- Work with complicated mechanical system concepts and detailed designs to properly determine the necessary design tradeoffs
- Interface with project teams and external customers as required, to support specialized product development
- Participate in the assembly, system test planning, and system test procedure generation
- Adequately document processes, procedures, and testing using structured formats
Requirements
- 0 years of experience with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret level security clearance
- Experience working on a project that utilized Project Management techniques and practices
- Experience using 3-D modeling software for complex assemblies, detailed design, and realistic rendering
- Knowledge of raw materials, prototyping and production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective fabrication and manufacture of electro-mechanical devices
